What is LED Red Light Therapy?
LED Red Light Therapy has been used by NASA and US army for quick healing and has become well known as one of the most effective and non-invasive methods to help repair the skin. Red light diodes penetrate deep into the dermis layer of the skin, repairing damaged skin cells, stimulating collagen and elastin. Red Light Therapy has even been used to reduce inflammation, treat post-surgical scars, wounds and burns. It is an amazing anti-aging treatment and is the perfect complement to our organic microdermabrasion.
What is LED Blue Light Therapy?
LED Blue Light Therapy destroys bacteria on the skin and prevents bacteria from forming. This is an amazing tool to treat those with acne prone skin.
Can I get LED Light Therapy?
LED Light Therapy is extremely non-invasive. Most clients are able to receive this treatment however there are a few exceptions. You may not be able to receive the treatment if any of the following apply:
- pregnant
- have epilepsy
- taking medications such as but not limited to tetracycline which can cause sensitivity to light
How many treatments are needed to see results?
Many people will see results in just a few treatments. We recommend a series of 6 scheduled between 7 days apart to see the best results. Certain clients with acne prone skin may need more treatments. Once skincare goals have been achieved recommend every 4-6 weeks for maintenance.
