Explore Our Infrared Sauna Services

Far, mid, and near-infrared rays induce deep relaxation by relieving muscle tension at a low, comfortable intensity, promoting overall stress reduction with regular use. Perfect for relaxation before or after your spa service.

A low, constant intensity level penetrates the tissues during this session to help with various skin concerns. Near infrared LEDs improve overall skin tone, elasticity, and firmness, promoting anti-aging benefits. (3 sauna sessions per week are recommended for maximum results)

Mid- and far-infrared heat starts at a high intensity to raise the body’s core temperature, then drops to a comfortable, low level. This infrared combination improves vascular access and enables toxins to reach the cellular level. (3 sauna sessions per week are recommended for maximum results)

This near-, mid-, and far-infrared blend provides natural pain relief by reducing inflammation and swelling. Infrared penetrates tissue to promote cellular repair at a medium, constant intensity. (3 sauna sessions per week are recommended for maximum results)

*Not recommended if you have had an injury within 48 hours.

This session starts at a high intensity to stimulate the cardiovascular system, then reduces to a medium level. As the body works to cool itself, heart rate, cardiac output, and metabolic rate increase, similar to those seen during exercise. (3 sauna sessions per week are recommended for maximum results.)

Starts with high-intensity infrared to increase heart rate and cardiac output. Infrared heat is then lowered to maintain heart rate. Circulation increases to promote healthy blood pressure. (3 sauna sessions per week are recommended for maximum results)

Chromotherapy

We offer chromotherapy during each session at no additional cost. This ancient healing method, light and color therapy, improves overall health and harmony. Each color in the visible light spectrum has a specific frequency of vibration. Each vibration is related to different physical symptoms. Chromotherapy restores various energy points to help balance the body. You get to choose the color during your session!

Frequently Asked questions…

Infrared light is part of the sun’s invisible spectrum and can penetrate human tissue. Infrared heat heats the body directly rather than simply the air.

You will be provided with a spa wrap and towels for your sauna session. Our saunas are in private spaces so that you can disrobe to your comfort level.

We will provide you with a spa wrap, towels, slippers, and a box of water. If you have your own water container, we are happy to fill it for you.

This depends on what you want to achieve. If your main goal is to relax before or after your spa service, the relaxation session may be the best option. Choose the length of time based on your comfort level. All other session options have been specifically programmed and designed to achieve that goal.

We recommend you do not eat 60 minutes before your service.

If our shower is available, you may use it after your session; however, to maximize benefits, it is recommended that you do not shower immediately after your sauna session. It is recommended that the body return to its regular internal temperature naturally and gradually.

The heat and infrared lights naturally sanitize the sauna. We place a towel for each guest and sanitize the sauna between sessions.

If you have a medical condition, we recommend you consult your physician. If you are pregnant, have a fever, are a hemophiliac, have insensitivity to heat, have a pacemaker/defibrillator, have cardiovascular conditions, have drunk alcohol, or are taking medications such as diuretics, barbiturates, beta-blockers, anticholinergics, or antihistamines, it is not recommended that you use the sauna.

One session will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, but, like exercise, the more you do it, the better the results. 3 times a week is recommended for optimal results. Packages are available.

Pre Sauna sessions

  • Drink 8 ounces of water before your sauna session
  • Avoid eating 60 minutes before your session

Post Sauna sessions

  • Drink 24 ounces of water after your sauna session is complete
  • To achieve optimal benefits, it is recommended to wait at least 60 minutes after your sauna session before showering, so your body temperature can return to normal.
  • Far infrared (FIR) is the longest wavelength and reaches deepest into the body, where toxins are stored. By raising your core body temperature, FIR stimulates the sweat glands, resulting in a deep, detoxifying sweat that leaves you feeling revitalized. Benefits include weight loss, detoxification, relaxation, and reduced blood pressure.
  • Mid-infrared (MIR) light has a longer wavelength and can penetrate deeper into the body’s soft tissues, where inflammation occurs, thereby accelerating the healing process. Benefits include pain relief, improved circulation, and weight loss.
  • Near infrared (NIR) is the shortest wavelength in the infrared spectrum. Scientific research shows that when delivered at a vital wavelength of 880nm, without extreme heat or light, NIR promotes skin renewal, cell health, wound healing, and tissue growth.

Nature gives us infrared light. You can’t see it with your eyes, but you know it. It’s that good feeling you get the moment the sun comes out on a cloudy day. It’s the warmth you love to soak up at the beach or next to a fire. Our infrared saunas offer wavelengths of near, mid, and far ranges to give you optimal absorption and results. Infrared heat penetrates the body’s core, encouraging detoxification and cellular circulation. Steam saunas heat the body through hot air, causing perspiration on the surface.

Unlike a traditional sauna, infrared heat warms the body directly. Air temperature in the sauna is less important than the type and quality of the infrared received. To achieve the peak far-infrared wavelength, the surface temperature of an object must be controlled. The cooler the heater’s surface area, the more far-infrared energy it will produce. Sunlighten saunas have heat sensors at multiple locations to measure the surface temperature of the heaters to emit the optimal wavelength. During a 30-minute session, the air temperature will range from 120 to 140° when seated on the bench.
